For things like changes of the lead in the race? - I'm sure if there was footage it would be included. My point exactly, there are not enough cameras to cover the meeting properly or the camera work is such poor quality that it is not useable. Mike, get some tapes or DVDs of last years coverage and compare them with this years. They also don't seem able to place them as well with the TV companies. Last season could be seen on 6 times/week on Motors TV, once on CH5 and Men and Motors. I stand to be corrected but now we only get 2 showings on Motors TV. We all pay equal amounts for supposed equal time which we definitely aren't getting this year.

yeah its not well put together this year. Commentator is usually not too bad and doesnt make too many slip ups considering he probably has no idea who anyone is and is just reading names and info off a list of race numbers.
But video quality and the graphics arent great a lot of the titles and points/results displays look like a quick mock up on home movie software or something and not pro looking btcc style. Often the sound quality when sasha is doing interview or introducing bits is terrible.
The lack of footage of interesting moments can be frustrating, ive suddenly jumped positions in a couple of races without the move being shown or it even mentioned. Been punted off the road or hit by someone a few times this year and its never been shown but i was delighted when they showed ian forrest driving me off the road on the main straight in the last programme.

oh I blinked and missed the coverage of the first XR2 race..... Are you, as competitors, getting you're money's worth? Questions should be asked. I don't have MotorsTV because Virgin still don't have it!

John I agree..
Also find it strange they include ST's in the overall results though they don't score points, if they are going to do that they should at least show a clip of them ??
Anyone see the Lamborghini crash, that was very nearly missed by the camera at McIntyres!

Richard I have Virgin and I get Motors - you just have to pay for it Dont know if it is still the case, but there used to be some confusing set up with Motors TV and Virgin: if your Virgin area was ex-NTL then you could get Motors, but if it was ex-Telewest then you couldn't?

We've got the all singing, all dancing Virgin package, we used to be supplied by Telewest. I was guarenteed by the MotorsTV guys at the Autosport Show that we'd have it by February.
