Oh forgot.... That is just taking the p!$$ - the only circuit getting two races, and it's the worst of the lot!!! No bikes, either - not much to get excited about now :blackeye:

Not happy - no Superbike either. So that will be the GT's, the Club meetings and erm, er.... As I've said before, what is the point in buying a season ticket now then?? Not much :blackeye: Though I'm still holding out hope for ASCAR... they'll definitely have to reduce the prices, though :s GR, online at Inverness library Back home tomorrow night

Indeed. Do I spend my money on a Knockhill season ticket or use that money for a BTCC race down south?? Honestly, it is a difficult one.
It would be worth it to get into the circuit car park for the GT's and Rallycross - I presume with the Rallycross they don't go into the carpark??

Or just decide to stuff the BTCC, seeing as they don't care about their Scottish fans, and go to Croft for the SMRC meeting instead

On the subject of Season Tickets, the price now has to come down or about three people are going to buy them. I'd love to hear what Stuart Gray has to say about this so a mail to Knockhill looks necessary...

Apparently, it's UP £16 - that's a SMRC event plus half another, but we're minus two £20 entry races, so if anything it should be down £16!!!!!!
Sod the BTCC...maybe, I don't know who to believe - TOCA say lack of facilities but Knockhill couldn't afford it - or did TOCA price them out of it? Hard to say who's telling the truth.
I still love the BTCC, as long as it's got some good racing I love it!

BTW I will definitely be going to Croft next June - if my car keeps going...

UP £16??!!! Unbelieveable... and why exactly do they think anyone's prepared to pay a lump sum of £96 in advance for meetings that would cost about £120 to get into paying on the gate, always assuming they actually like rallying, otherwise it's more like £100?? :banghead:
I love Knockhill, but I can't help thinking they need someone new in charge of PR..........

I love Knockhill, but I can't help thinking they need someone new in charge of PR.......... The problem's not so much PR. It's comercial reality. I'd rather Knockhill still be there than have to do all my races in the south. Remember, season tickets cover everything....Car racing, Bike racing, Hot Hatch and any other chargeable events.... A Season Pass is for everything, not just Xmas

But of course for those of us not interested in bikes or without a car suitable for track days it just isn't cost effective... think it's about time they produced a "car event only" season ticket or somesuch.

Yeah - I'd buy a car racing season ticket if it was, say, £70ish, but the overall one simply isn't cost-effective for those of us who only really go to the car races.... it used to be fantastic value, but not now the price has gone up and the events have gone down

Hope Ascar comes to Knockhill on 14th September as if it comes on the 22nd June I shall be at Croft I'm afraid - season ticket won't be worth it.
I suppose I will be just too tempted to go for a season ticket and buy one.
