Alan Gow has approved the alterations at Knockhill which now means the event, as planned will go ahead on the 7-8th August this year.
Now for the season ticket!

Lol, very true... good thing there's plenty of time, seeing as I'm down to my last three pounds right now! (Think I was a touch over-optimistic about how much I could afford to pay off my credit card bill at once... )

Ooo, credit card, nasty....
Wouldn't touch one of em with a barge pole.
Gonna be skint shortly myself anyway, as buying alloys, new boot for car, stuff like that and of course need to account for season ticket!

I don't use my card much, just when it's necessary to order stuff online, or to pay for things that have to be bought, such as a load of stuff for moving house Usually I keep the bill down pretty low, though... just need to get it down to it's normal level of £10-20, then it'll be fine Know what you mean about buying stuff... got a long long list of things that need buying when the money is there... microwave, season tickets, table, digital camera, new computer.....

GR - you wouldn't get far in racing with a Visa limit of 10-20 pounds - try adding a few digits to it and you'll be about there. That's for us poor folk who can't 'really' afford to race! Nick www.ns-r.co.uk

lol The limit's £1200, actually (yeah, still not enough for racing!)... I just try to keep it below £100, so I can actually pay the bill

Ahh, the credit card. No problem if you know to control it, a bad thing if your missus doesn't. Where was the topic again? Oh, yes - I think I'll go and book a weekend off work for the BTCC.

Thank God I've more control on my credit cards than I do in my XR2. Wouldn't like to get out of line with the cards

I heard last night that we are one of the fortunate (?) tracks whose round of the BTCC is being televised live this year!
Better get the make-up bag ready again... and maybe a hairpiece to cover up the embarrassing bald patch that appeared on GT on 4 last year!!

Yup - saw that. Good news to have the live coverage back, though hopfully that wont just mean that everyone stays away to avoid the rain! ;D
Just saw all the info from the media/test day at Thruxton... pretty good initial entry of cars, with more to come and a "surprise entry later in the season" apparently. See what happens when they bring Alan Gow back?
