Hey guys whats happening out there? Usually some feedback from those out testing.
Is no one racing this year and have all the photographers deserted us?

Testing was pretty busy so I guess plenty of people will be racing.
You wouldn't think it by coming on here though.

It sounds like an "interesting" off-season...  I'm now curious what the heck was going on to make the apology necessary! Between that and the saga of the S&S posted above, I only hope the racing on the track puts the off-track stuff into the shade when it gets going. Being at such a distance now I only wish whoever scheduled the away rounds hadn't decided to send different series to different tracks quite some distance apart on the same weekend - had those been different weekends I'd have tried to make both, as it is, choosing between Oulton and Cadwell will be tricky! I'll probably see how the grids look for the relevant series once we start racing  |

Well I am new to all this and am looking forward to racing for the first time. Took Green XR2 (Ex No.9) for a run today and had the time of my life in the sun I'll need to quicken up a bit, my best at the track today was 67.** timed by my mate trackside anyway. Cars are a blast to drive though |

XR2s are great fun. Unlike some of the other series nobody seems to take themselves too seriously and there's not a lot of politics being played.
My son raced them in 06 and 07 and I often wish we'd done a couple more seasons and then moved onto STs.

We've just sold one of our STs which is now in Scotland :-)
I have one for sale - the one I finished 2nd in the national series in - proven race winning car if anyone is looking for one up at the hill....

Just spotted this on KH web site regarding Sunday's meeting. Big focus on di Resta (obviously), but a bit surprised that Fiesta's weren't even mentioned as part of the meeting?  Thoughts anyone? DC |

Blair says there are 13 XR2s and 6 STs on the entry list so that's a respectable number.
