Great racing today, roll on tomorrow. Best race for me personally today - Scottish Sports and Saloons - the battle at the front was superb.

Yea, that was an amazing race. I was on at the hairpin and Garry Watson had one or two ambitious pokes down the inside but James drove a brilliant race to hold him off before Garry went off. Sunday almost did it again but this time with Garry starting at the back but catching James very quickly but just couldn't find a way past. Unlucky for James that Philip Duncan did but great to see such close racing. Just make sure you qualify ahead of Garry otherwise I fear he would run away!!

Were you the guy in the blue/orange jumpsuit? I think I heard you taking about Saturday's race when i was down there. There's no way to out qualify Gary it's just too fast over a lap the only way is off the line with launch control and thats what did it although I doubt Gary will let that happen again but can only wait and see. Only reason phil got passed was because the evo was missfiring on the last lap, James would have had him at the line if it wasn't. I think that was the first saloon car win in 12 months too and IMO the quick start sports and saloons needs to show one person can't just run away with it.

Uploaded a video of Saturday's race here - youtu.be/FqkNU6dh1ug, I'll try to get Sunday's race up as well over the next day or so. Have to say it was a lot more entertaining for a spectator than the previous dominant Westfield display. Took quite a lot of videos over the weekend in response to the requests last time I posted here, including the 2 Saloon races . Hi, No, I was in the usual all orange suit but with a black floppy hat on to fend off the sun!! Yea, I thought the Evo sounded a bit off at the end, shame. Your other car (20?) seemed to have considerable understeer round the hairpin. Was also good to see Emma getting much nearer the pace too in the Minis.

David The evo x has just had new suspension which was only fitted on friday afternoon so that hasnt been fully set up yet and yeah good to see emma getting much closer to elaine now. Thanks for the video hammond you can really tell from those trackside shots how on edge the evo is when it gets sideways

Garry Watson's first few corners up to Butchers in the Sunday sports and saloons were epic (Carol Brown-esque). Big cojones to dive up the inside of the Mallock with the "hot-dog" kerb ready to take a munch out of his Westfield. Sadly the Duffus kerb did launch him later. A great weekend of racing soured slightly by a serious collision in the MX5 Mk1 race.

Sadly the Duffus kerb did launch him later. Wow that was so nearly a huge accident, driver side on!
