Hi everyone. I'm new to racing this year (as some may already know) so was just looking for some info on how this weekend will work as regards to racing timetable. The last meeting's entry form was for just 1 day. This meeting however is over 2 days according to the entry form. Does this mean that testing is on the Friday or is testing included on the sat? I have friends who are looking to buy tickets so don't want them arriving on a day I won't be racing (XR2).
Thanks in advance, Ben

According to the KH website there's testing Saturday morning. www.knockhill.com/events/testing-schedule.phpQually and race 1 would then be Saturday afternoon with remaining races Sunday. Hopefully scrutineering will be available Saturday morning too. Edit: Forgot to say that we should get tickets for both days.

I may be wrong but believe it's just qualifying on Saturday?

Not really helping much but over last 2 years both answers have been correct i.e one weekend had scrutineering and qualifying only on saturday and another weekend had scrutineering, qualifying and race 1 on sat with only race 2 on sunday. Will all depend on the other races on the program. If you urgently need to know, try contacting Chris Edwards via the SMRC website (http://www.smrc-uk.com/contacts.html) No idea which way it will go this year!

Did anybody manage to obtain any information regarding the timetable for this coming Saturday afternoon and Sunday? SMRC website still not showing anything that remotely resembles a timetable.
Any information gratefully received.

Qualifying starts 1pm Saturday then its Legends, Scottish FF and then Irish FF, Same again with Legends completing Saturday. All other SMRC classes only start the usual proceedure on Sunday with first qualifying 8.30am. Knockhill testing Saturday 9-12 ish I think
Hopefully Chris knew it was easter and mailed everything earlier so we get it shortly. Ali

Post rrived today with all info and tickets.....so very excited obviously. Looks like Blair will be on his own in the STs though, unless there are some late entries.
Also on the front page it says that testing will be available from 2-6pm on saturday (aswell as 8:30-12:30). But looking at saturday's timetable there will be 7 races after 1pm. Can anyone shed some light on this?

There are always a few entries which for whatever reason always seem to be omitted from the stuff which is sent out.
I'd imagine there will be 3 STs out and maybe one or two additional XR2s.
The Saturday testing details are probably a hangover from when these instructions were cut/paste from the previous instructions.
Testing is on Saturday morning only as far as I know.
Wonder if we'll be able to get scrutineered on the Saturday morning too?

Ben
Definitely a typo, so best to pre-book testing for Sat morning ...

Now thats definitely a thin Fiesta grid. I know I won't be on my own in ST's this weekend.
I wonder if the whole forcing of race-ceivers upon us has turned a few people off ?

Hi Blair, I reckon it's got more to do with having 2 race weekends so close together. For most of us mere mortals that simply means 2 lots of race expenses from 1 wage packet period. Also there were quite a few bent cars after the last weekend and it might be difficult to get them straightened out and painted within such a short timeframe?

Could well be it Greg. Another theory I had was the closing date for entries was quite soon after the first meeting, and people have maybe just forgot to enter.
