Here is the timetable for Sunday's Meeting, from the Knockhill website: ( www.knockhill.co.uk/Latest_News/news_nextevent.htm) Racing from 11.30am. Scottish Saloon & Sportscar Championship 15 laps Scottish XR2 Championships 15 laps L U N CH
Sprint Pursuit 12 laps Scottish Legends 6 laps Scottish Caterham Roadsports 15 laps Scottish Formula Ford Zetec Championship 15 laps Scottish Legends 6 laps Scottish Sports and Saloon Championships 15 laps Scottish XR2 Championship 15 laps Scottish Legends - Final 8 laps
Not much in the way of racing series but a few double headers. If the Sprint Pursuit is the shootout between McKever and Keith, then that may be the highlight of the day.

No - Ali mcKever has won the mini's end of story. No more talk of mini's around here - please!!! The pursuit thingy is a bit of a mystery. The entry form has some various Van diemens and other simlilar stuff - not sure what that's all about. I'm actually here at Knockhill now (well, wellwood). It's been hot all day but after 6pm it just drops so quickly. Pitch black and bloody freezing! Hopefully the weather will hold out. We are trying to get a go-karting race going at some point during the day, so if you want to come along for some fun, come and see me in the paddock. Dave is sorting it out and it will most likely be just after the second XR2 race... Cheers, Nick www.ns-r.co.uk

It'll probably be a free-for-all race with loads of cars. May be exciting and good. An end of season thing....

Good luck to both you and Gerard at Donni - is the pig going?

Well I'm still here at Knockhill. Still haven't a clue what the pursuit thingy is all about - there's only about ten cars on the entry list though... Weather report - it's been pretty sunny all day today although once it drops - it REALLY drops. It took me a while to prise a spanner off my fingers - it really is that cold (well, sort of!). Ian and Sandy Forrest are well wound up this weekend as we've told them that Alan Keith and Iain Cowie will be out in the XR2's. I know they won't be on this board so I'll let the cat out of the bag - they're blatantly not racing at all! - It's been fun winding Ian up all day though! We even put Alan Keith's old rear windows out as if we were going to fit them to the new XR2 for effect!! Yep - that's how bored we were today! See you at the weekend, Nick. www.ns-r.co.uk

hi all
what a glorious day at knockhill today, just spent the afternoon with barry wood of Turnkey with some customers getting let loose in all sorts of cars, had an amazing time.
we had 3 legends running today, the first time iv driven a car other than 23 , and got on quite well but the star attraction was Anthony Ried who was trying the roger quinn car and i recon set about the fastest ever legend time for a basic 1200 engine , unbelievably quick , only his second session in the car, serious respect, we were trying to persuade him to give up touring cars and take on the legend challege, lol who knows.
cya all on sunday
cheers

Heh, wish I'd been there now - would've been pretty interesting to see Reid in a Legend! Wonder if he'll decide to have a race on Sunday?
