Just to put the record straight it was Matt Rivett that Hayley had a crush on. I tried to tell her I looked like that 30 years ago but she did not believe me.

Hey Mike, Did you film me picking up/kicking all the debrie off the track too?  I didn't, but myself and my brother in law were shouting over to you that we'd have the sideskirt that had come off entirely - we were willing to sellotape it to whichever of our cars it would fit.

Sorry about the quality, looks absolutely shocking, don't remember doing anything different. Suggest you definitely don't view at full screen! They are still being pre-processed by Youtube - they'll probably look fine when they are done.

I need to get me an onboard camera for next time. The view of Hobbs from my car was pretty spectacular (as I was skelping through the gravel at Leslies to avoid him!)

The onboard camera is a great toy. I would like to have a couple so that I can see behind as well as in front.
You don't need anything too fancy - but make sure you have a good mount for it - any bouncing around and the picture will be terrible.

Looking at camera mounts right now! Think my Sony Cybershot should be up to the task of filming, if not I'll blag one of my parents' ones. Alan, it was madness in to Duffus/Leslies! Dont know what happened to Kenny Brewster but he ended up out of it, Paul Sale and Geoff Gillies ended up coming together ending their races, Mervyn spun in the dust cloud but got going again. The pic of Hobbs car on Power-Images shows it running about 5deg positive camber as it smacks the kerb that launched it skywards which was probably the cause of his retirement (think the radiator etc survived even though the bumper was proper bent up/in). The contact pushed me wide so I had no choice but to gravel run through Leslies, about half the field had to go across the grass and cut MacIntyres to avoid the carnage after Leslies. Still, pretty happy with a 7th and two 6th places. Had quite a few people just come up and say good effort for even getting the car back out

well it wasnt my fault, normally i get the blame for anything that happens at mcintyres (never had a quiet day there yet) as I wasnt there. i reckon that those 2 observers messrs wilson and spencer are eating too many pork pies for brekkie. lol

I was grateful that both of you shot off in the same direction - off the racetrack!  When I went on the brakes I was fully expecting to be t-boning at least one of you. In some ways I wish I had been more forceful in passing you at Butchers and that would probably have saved you a lot of money now.

Just seen in the press that Charlie Shaw had his 2 wins taken off him due to fuel irregularities and Wayne MacCauley had his 2nd place in the second race taken away due to a "technical infrigement".
So it wasn't just the GTs that had controversy!!
