Thanks Martin...... Falkirk fan..... but it was red when I got it and I couldn't afford to paint the fecker blue after what I've already spent! Although I changed the bumpers and arches from red to white which looks ok I think!
XR2 now gone...... but as an Austrian once said "I'll be back!"
Greg I would't be shouting about the falkirk thing, say I stay in Falkirk now but i'll always be a Pars man. Testing is for checking your car and practise. You'd prob be best just to find your own bit of Tarmac and concentrate on yourself, quite a few begginers (like myself) in the past ha e tried to run(race) before they could walk(get round the black stuff). Ask one of the more experienced people if you can follow them.
Try and concentrate all the time, there are 3 fast blind corners at Knockhill, everytime you approach any corner especially the blind ones, always expect the unexpected, be prepared for anything. Whether it be your car spinning or someone else spun.
Build up your speed in your own time. It never seems like your going very fast untill your having your own accident, be careful ........
There are 3 rules...........
1. Enjoy youself. That's the whole point. 2. Regardless of what anybody says, go at your own pace. 3. Last but not least, don't follow charlie T. Follow someone that stays on the track ha! Ha!
Sound advice there! No need to bin it before the season starts. If it's pishin wet like the forecast says it's great practice, just build up your speed and enjoy. Ignore your lap times for a while till your comfortable and even then, only worry about going faster than yourself for now.
Coincidentally, this Sunday is also the marshals' training day so some satsumas will be wandering around after lunch casting a beady on eye on what you lot are up to!! So...no knocking down my floppy pole at the chicane!!!
