Hello I'm a university design student doing research about racing and it would be really nice if anyone would give me some ideas. Thank you.
what cool gadgets would you want in your racing car?
I accept any crazy ideas Here are some examples people gave me:
Temperature controlled suite for cold/hot weather Helmet with a talkywalky to communicate

Helmet with a talkywalky to communicate Thats a crazy idea but if you could get it to work it would be really cool. Just imagine drivers could talk to the pit line and report problems with the car, or say they are coming in for tyres and fuel. Maybe one day when we're watching F1 on TV we would be able to hear the drivers talking too? Doh! ;D

Wearing a helmet reduces peripheral vision and with many seats having side protection at head level it's not always easy to see where other cars are. I know it's possible to get curved mirrors but they distort what you see.
