Quick Mini update...

Just a quick update on the Mini's: -

Alan finished 5th and 2nd in the Mini races at Croft, finishing in front of Mike Connon in both races so he is now winning the championship with only the Isle of Bute sprint left in a couple of weeks time.

Apparently, in the first race, Klos jumped the start and went straight through the field but cars ended up all over the place at Clearveux after contact with McKever.

Are the Mini's at the Mount Stuart Motorsport Classic ??

Just my luck I'm gonna be going to that then! (F1 cars tempted me..)

Off the top of my head, I think they are at Mount Stuart on Sept 28th (?).

That's the week after...MSMC is 21st.. oh well I'm sure I'll be able to get a lunch break at some other point in the day - Mini's would of suited just fine!!

Just checked on their site.. Mini's have 2 heats, one at 10am on Sat 20th and Sun 21st, too early for lunch then!

Scrub that - I was wrong - the Mini's are there on the 21st September - I've just checked on the SMRC site.

Yep. The minis are at the Mount Stuart Festival of Speed (erm I mean Motorsport Classic) It was always billed as the super finale to the series...

Don't think I'll be able to get there this year but it sounds fun.

I wasn't planning on going either, but seemingly my dad has for a while so I couldn't refuse the offer when he said to me about it.
