Good news..
Saw in Motorsport News today that the Clios and Formula Renault will be back at Knockhill next year with the BTCC package!
Carnage looms....

Has anyone heard anything about Super Sheds?

Good grief... first Clio race... 30 laps! There'll be none left for the second race!
Super Sheds currently on special offer at Homebase for £100, a bargain not to be missed...!
Seriously, I spoke to Gordon and Jillian at the dinner in December and they said he would be out this year in a Seat of some sort, no idea whose but that was a definite plan! They were selling Jillian's FF car to help finance it and she wouldn't be racing this season. That was the last I heard.

Was giving the fiesta a shakedown at Brands Hatch today. Matt Neal, Andrew Jordan and Dave Pinkney were there. Dave was in the garage next to us. He's out in the ex Fabrizio Vauxhall this year in his own team and looked seriously quick. Today was the first time he had sat in the car (which is some piece of kit as expected I guess) and like Jordan he is running next year's turbo charged engine which by the end of the day was playing up. We chatted a fair bit during the day and Pinkney's quite a character.... If he can sort a couple of things out and get a gear ratio upgrade he's waiting on it wouldn't surprise me if he surprised a few people this year.
Glynn Geddie and a few other Porsche's were there and Glynn was another who looked seriously quick.

This is great news - I can only suspect this has a lot to do with Matt Neal?
The whole Pinkney thing was crazy and you'd hope it was purely down to money or Steve Neal must be off his marbles, now they have Honda backing they can get good drivers who don't have a huge budget?

glad to see Gordon back at TD in a well run and prepped car, all we need now is for dave bartrum to confirm jonny adam back at motorbase and micky doyle to get the £££ and get the civic out

Dunno Dave, but I did read an article with Steve Neal saying Pinkney brought a lot of money and thats what let the team run last year - but he prefers to be able to choose drivers not based on budget.
