Nice idea, Charlie but I've noticed various advertisers in the programmes in the past with half page adverts etc... I'm willing to bet they paid for the privilege - which isn't something we can do unfortunately  |

Come on KF, we're giving ideas and they're dismissed straight away... The posters sounds like it will never happen and Charlies idea has just been thrown out the window even although if it was given a go it would probably get put in the program - after all its not commercial advertising - its a site created for the racers by enthusiasts and for the benifit of the SMRC and racers! It's a small thing called "realism", Dave... I'm pretty sure we'd be required to hand over some cash if we were to get any space in their program (programs cost money to print), and that's something we don't have.  As it is, we already spend a fair amount of money on getting photos processed each week (I had to cough up £35 for last weekend!), plus we're considering trying to get hold of a press pass or two if possible (we haven't a clue how it works), which may well cost us more... Unless we find someone who'll pay us to advertise on the website or something (and seriously, that's not something we want to do - dunno about anyone else, but I hate websites that are covered in adverts. The only reason we've got ads on this forum is because no-one wants to pay to get rid of them, and we can't afford to do it ourselves all the time), we just can't afford to spend money on promoting it. KF doesn't earn a high wage, while I'm living off benefits - we've barely got enough to live on (and get to Knockhill, of course), and we certainly can't afford to be spending any extra |

The posters definitely haven't been written off - they've been waiting for some time to be found How about this for a general layout (yes, I know the gap in the middle looks huge - it won't by the time the page has been cut in half )? www.knockhill.plus.com/misc/scrad.docIf it's possible for Nick to get something like that printed up, then the idea of having some of them left by the ICR XR2s for people to pick up could work ok - what does everyone else think? |

It looks good to me. Gives you the information you need but without going on.  Also, could be an idea to make sure you let it be known on the main site that these "flyers" are available for download so people can hand them out at races etc etc... |
