Should've had the Scottish Legends out instead of the Nationals in my opinion, give us some local interest! Or even in addition to the nationals, given the rather small list of series there... not going to be much happening by the sounds of that

Doesn't help that the Ginettas are for kids while the Porkers and Seats will probably only bring up grids in the single figures - it's not the most inspiring of days out. Just as well the Tourer races should be spot-on given how good the Championship seems to be this year.

Won't there be any Scottish Legends drivers out then with the National field ?

Long story, but unless they were already registered with the National Championship and would have been running anyway - no.

there should be a gap seeing as there is no f-renault and no clios and only the nation legends are there. get the minis or XR2's in there. this year the porkers are a borefest and the seats arent much better. hope the marshals bring plenty of pork pies otherwise there may be no action at all

The weekend is run by an English run body, they don't give a monkeys about local club racers, they do it for the money not to please the locals. Its a well known fact that some of the pro racing drivers hate Knockhill and they won't be happy waiting around for more unwanted club races. The "grassroots" to them is £50k for a year in the Ginettas.
The historics were cut down 3 or 4 years ago when Allan McGregor pulled out of running Historic Ecosse, there was an outcry from the English race organisers that it was plain dangerous to run a 1920s Riley in the same race as a 60s Aston DB4 and a Cooper Formula Junior, the club listened to them and stopped Historic Ecosse and the club formed Historic S+S.
