Several drivers (including myself, it should be my first outing in the new car) have expressed an interest in testing before the next race weekend. Consequently, ICR is thinking of hiring Knockhill for 2 hours on the evening of 22 May.
I would expect the cost for the 2 hours to be in the region of £100. In terms of track time, this will be much better value than the Knockhill organised sessions.
The plan at this stage is that the session would be primarily for XR2's (consequently, it is not the intention to split it into seperate slots for XR2's, Legends, single seaters etc.). However, given that there will be a minimum number of drivers who will need to sign up to make it viable, if some Legends, or Sports and Saloons wanted to join us then it may be possible to accomodate them (No promises at this stage). Numbers however, will be limited as a quiet track will help testing objectives. I will be contacting the XR2 drivers via email however this forum may give an early indication of numbers and make the session known outside of the XR2 "community.
If anybody wants to know more, just ask.

John - I spoke to Iain this morning about my suspension and this test day and it appears that Knockhill is now booked up on the 2nd...
Iain says he will let us know once he has checked out another date.

If the 22nd is now booked, I think there will still be appetite for this to happen on another day. If people want to suggest a date I will see if this matches up with KH availability
Dave- yes racing license will be required, but plenty time for you to get one!!
