Just spotted this on KH web site regarding Sunday's meeting. Big focus on di Resta (obviously), but a bit surprised that Fiesta's weren't even mentioned as part of the meeting? Thoughts anyone? DC Knockhill quite often forget to mention Fiesta's in their press releases. I wouldn't read anything into it. Strangely however, in their email we did get a mention!: 2012 MOTORSPORT SEASON STARTS THIS WEEKEND! Scottish Championship Car Racing returns for another bumper season. 2012 will see new cars, drivers and in several classes new champions will be crowned. Looking to make a name for himself is Stefan Di Resta, younger brother of current Force India F1 driver Paul. Stefan will be making his racing debut in the Mini Cooper Cup this weekend.
A full days racing will include action from, Formula Ford 1600, Mini Cooper Cup, Scottish Sports & Saloons, Fiesta XR2 & ST, Legends and the Classic Sports and Saloons Championship.
Action all day from 9am with a 14 race programme. It's been a long winter and we can't wait for the action to begin. See you here this weekend!!
Adult admission is £12, Concessions £6 and under12's are free of charge!
Buy in advance for discounts.

I would imagine that if there are 13 drivers supposedly in the XR2's, they will get more than a mention for the great racing provided. I read that article as promotion for the event only and Fiestas were classed, for that purpose, under sports and saloons! I may be wrong
